Quote (Demon)
9. Light machine guns and sniper rifles cannot shot inside to inside the house
Exception is a light machine gun with a semi auto function

House? What is this "House" you speak of?

Anyway, it sounds like this rule hasn't been updated since we were booted out of the Victor field, the house boarded up, and the paths replaced with high-quality lumber walkways. But, I suppose SatCom could be considered a "house" by a loose definition, so the rule might not need changing, or just a slight change to something like "9. Light machine guns and sniper rifles cannot shot inside to inside bunkers" or "9. Light machine guns and sniper rifles cannot shot at people less than 20 feet away (ie. the maximum shot-put distance of a good sized bowling ball)." cool

no blindfiring because its unfair in airsoft and it ruins the game for guys. if you cant present a target to get shot at then you have no business shooting. if you have no other choice then you stay down till something happens or you take the chance and fire. blindfire is just overused by new guys and its a bitch move frankly. so most guys agree that its not ok.

It can also result in over killing or shooting dead players. If you consider the reverse situation, you probably wouldn't like someone blind firing into your bunker and spraying you at point blank.

I have a question about the FPS rule, I have an Echo 1 CRS (SVD) it is an AEG that fires at most 500 FPS with .2 gram BBs. I use .4 gram sniper BBs so the FPS is lowered significantly, also the rifle is semi-auto only so it is classified as a DMR rifle. I was wondering if I can use this at your field, I know you must get a lot of these types of questions so I apologize. I was reading the other posts on the forum and I see that you could possibly set up a minimum engagement distance for exceptions ( like the G&G M14 ) I would be perfectly fine with a constraint like this.

Fps lowering by increasing the bb weight is not an acceptable solution because the muzzle energy is still approximately the same. However for semi auto dmrs just talk to Colin before the game and I'm sure he'll work out an acceptable MED 50-100ft. As long as you can show that your capable of judging and abiding by the MED I'm sure it will be fine. You may be required to have a sidearm or something for close range though.
