| today we had 14 total i believe. a few more new guys made it out. and many stayed past 5. it was a very good day.
most of the battles today were to get a good feel for areas we will play at during the OP. so it was basic, but helpful for guys who planed on attending.
we started with a warm up match at the creek. it was pretty standard. some accidental friendly fire, some very hard pushes forward, and eventually a winner. nothing to crazy.
next we did attack defend at satcom delta. i worked my ass of Friday to clear most of the glass and metal from the tree line, so for once that area was in play. the attack was very very fast. the attackers rushed the satcom and quickly overwhelmed it. the teams were 6v8 i believe, so they were not outmatched by any means. the attack team pushed them out of the satcom and then me and Jon (demon) rushed the house under a hail of covering fire. taking out all the players proved easy with jon at point blank range and me covering his blind spots. so it was probably the fastest, most effective attack on delta ever.
the next game was a hostage game. eric played the hostage for this game. he attempted to smuggle 2 knifes on him. but because i patted him down correctly, the knifes were discovered and he was disarmed. we held him at the rock by the creek. the attack team made a big push on all flanks, and eventually they rescued him. not before he recovered a knife, and took out a player, stealing his gun, and shooting up most of the defense team. it was a good effort by everyone.
next the guys played attack the ridge while me and eric helped his father at the parking area. apparently the attacking team took the ridge against jon, dave, and someone else. sorry cant remember who. it was a 3V6, usually its 3V more, but somehow they took the ridge anyway. didnt see this game, so more impute is welcome here.
finally we did a spy game. one player on each team was the designated "spy" who was to kill off their teammates in order to aid the OP-FOR. Eric was his teams spy, Jon was our teams spy. eric killed off his team all accept one. jon killed off everyone on our team, then walked over to the other team and caped eric in the back of the head. it was quick, and very painful for almost everyone. but still a fun game.
