| Hey, I am just looking for any opinions or experiences people have had with G&P brand rifles. I was looking to get some new hardware and a Magpul MOE by G&P on Airsoft GI caught my eye. I thoroughly research these things before buying, but I couldn't find anything solid. I was looking around the web, but most of the info I found was from 4-5 years ago. From what I did find, apparently the newer models have vastly improved internals that alleviated the older model problems, but I would rather here some more personal testimony than advertisement.
Thank-you for any info you can give me.

| I haven't bought a recent g&p but I have recently used some of their internals and I'm not any more impressed than 5 years ago. Just be prepared to replace the piston and gears if you buy a g&p. You may get lucky and get a good set of gears, but for the most part they are weak and/or have bad qc. Sometimes you can make the pistons last for a while in a basic set up (requires opening the gearbox), but they're still that good. Obviously the externals on a g&p are excellent though, and just about all the other parts should be fine including the gearbox shell which is pretty strong as stock shells go.

| Alright, thanks for the heads-up. I like the MOE setup, so I will probably go with with this type of rifle. I might go with this one just for the solid externals and just replace the internals later if they fail. Alternatively, G&G has a nice looking FN2000 I may investigate more.
