| Hi, I'm Kevin Teeple, and I've been playing airsoft since, oh, probably 2006 or so, and slowly been working my way up. My brother initially introduced me to it, as he played a few short indoor games in college, but grew disinterested after a few games. I also graduated from SUNY Brockport last May with an English major - creative writing focus, and I tend to be pretty verbose in writing, so I'll try to keep this at least somewhat brief.
My first games were played with Ethan S. and Justin Price for Gravel Pit airsoft, which was played in the gravel pit right behind my house - literally walking distance, so I started playing airsoft before I could even drive. I started off with old clothes and something similar to this - http://www.crosman.com/airsoft/rifles/SAPR73C for my first year - in other words, I was completely outclassed by other people with better airsoft guns, but was still able to get a few hits and was at least able to start out. In June of 2008 I bought a JG M16 AF Airsoft Electric Gun and went to Iron Mikes and got some second-hand army clothes. Probably sometime around 2009 I learned of Colin's group and switched from playing at the Gravel Pit to a wooded area in Victor behind the liquor store on Main Street Victor. But despite assurances that the land was free to use, and several workdays of effort put in to improving it, the land was claimed and games ceased there, so games moved to around 2050 Brace Road. But for the past four summers I've worked at the Seneca Travel Plaza, which needs more employees on weekends than weekdays, and at college I was able to go to airsoft games but the inconvenience of the extra distance dissuaded me from going many times.
So, that's my mini-biography. Only a few dozen people seem to check this site anyway, but in case anyone's interested, here it is.
