my names Colin, i am one of the 3 founding members of Shadow Strike Airsoft. i run the weekly airsoft games, with some help from Jon and Dave.
i am the Commander of team G.H.O.S.T, and iv been playing airsoft for about 10 years now.
some of you might remember me from my time working with Rochester Airsoft, but im no longer with that group.

ok guys lets not fight on the forums, you will have plenty of time make fools of each other and yourselves at the games lol.

your biggest problem is authority. in my team, we have the chain of command. no bitching or arguing. if we lose, or get destroyed, we take it with dignity. we dont blame each other for the problems we have. we talk about them, and see how we can do better next time. the second you raise your voice, or place the blame on others, your team will fall apart. you guys are fiends, you need to remember that. the guy who messes up already knows he messes it up. dont throw it in his face and be petty about it. know your teams strengths and weaknesses, and work to make the best of what you have.

this whole yelling at each other, and placing blame on each other, just makes you all look bad. and no one wants to be "that team" ya know.

i know dude, iv seen it come from just about all of you guys. that wasn't directed at one guys, it was really all of you.

but respect isnt just given out, you have to earn it. and that goes two ways. if i want my team to respect me, i cant be talking down to them and yelling at them. they wont listen and then nothing works. if you want respect try showing it. that will make a big difference. next time there's a problem dont pick out one guy and yell. talk to him in private. and own up to your own problems. that could help.

And keep in mind the bottom line is that airsoft is all about fun. Any sport can be taken seriously at times, but you should still have a good time. Besides, most of the 'competition' in airsoft comes more from technical challenges (gun handling, quick thinking ect) rather than physical. People should be a little more relaxed and instead of blaming people just adapt and focus more on your own actions instead of others.
Seriously just have fun.
