today was a beautiful day for airsoft. so no one showed up haha. no we had a good turnout, just not as big as last week. we played two long games. both death matches. the first game took place at the creek. we battled it out for a while, made some pushes back and forth. eventually we started running out of ammo, having gun problems, etc. in the end a few guys overwhelmed a final survivor, wining the game.
the next game was a little different for us. it was a death match, but it took place completely in the field. the tree line was totally out of bounds. it took forever because it was two small squads in a large area. we all end up flanking each other at one point, effectively switching sides. this resulted in dead players spawning and then surrounding a team. this happened more than once, and it was a constant run around seeking out players in the dense brush. it was an epic battle because of all the smoke bombs, and the constant fear of what was behind the next bush. very intense if you ask me.
these games took a long time, and tired out all of us very quickly. so we decided to call it a day a little early. still a very good day for us giving the turnout.
