| today we maxed out at 13, but 10 of those players were new to the group. now if only we could get all the new guys out on the same day we will have an epic battle! haha
we started out with a deathmatch at the creek. originally i wanted to go to the pond, but the weather looked to shady so we went to the creek where the tarps were up. the death match was 6V6- 13th guy was late. my team started at the rock, while the group of 6 new guys took the opposite side. we set up a good plan to push them on the left flank, and let them gain ground on the right. it worked out very well for my team because we eventually overtook their spawn point and won. a few epic encounters did occur, one guy even tried to take back the left side by going into the very full creek. sadly it did not work, but it was a nice try. he did injure someone, and kill someone i believe.
next it was an attack defend at SATCOM Delta. 6 guys were MIA, so it was just a 3v4. it started off slower that usually, but then it erupted into a massive firefight. those of you who defended the house know how crazy it is when 200 BB's are hitting the side of the wall or bouncing off walls and hitting you. so that was a good fight. but fairly basic.
finally the 6 MIA guys returned, and we redid the attack defend at SATCOM Delta. 5v6, fairly basic firefights and the same pushes and advances as last time. the one MAJOR FAIL happened when the attack team pushed past the SATCOM, and advanced on the house. they killed everyone but Brian, and he was behind the house not in it. so they saw my team all dead, watching them clear the house. they did not think to count heads, and began walking up to us, talking as if the game was over. Brian had the perfect shot on 6 people all at once. what does he do? CALLS HIMSELF OUT! he figured the game was over, even tho i signaled him to keep going. Biggest FAIL EVER! i was so mad, he had a beautiful shot at the whole enemy team (could have just safety killed them all if he wanted to, they were that close) and he did NOTHING! haha i will never forgive him for this.
it was a great day, never really rained, just a few drops for like 10 minutes.
