| we did our warm up death match. nothing too special there.
next we did an attack/ defend at the satcom. it went pretty well. fairly quick for that style game.
then it was back to the creek for a hostage match. i played the hostage, but we tried something a little different. a new area to hold the hostage. it turned out to be very easy to defend, so we wont use it again. but 3 out of 7 guys died defending the hostage, i killed 2 of them by taking a guys pistol right from his vest. the look on his face, priceless. just to give you an idea of how it went. the rescue team just kept getting destroyed. so we called it.
next we tried a new game. 3v5v4. 3 experienced younger guys (20s), 5 guys who barely knew each other all with mixed levels of experiences, and 4 guys who knew each other but were older(late 20s+). each team had a set medic. the medic could revive the dead. if a dead enemy was revived by an enemy medic, he turned into that teams player. so eventually one team would take over everyone.
it started with 4 by the rock, 5 in the middle, and 3 by the creek edge. originally me and my 4 other guys in the middle just thought we would be killed and taken over right away and it would be a slaughter, but that didnt happen. both the 3 and the 4 team did not move in. so my team of 5 attacked the team of 3, took them over, then took over the team of 4. that ended the game very quick.
because that was so fast we tried again, this time it was 4v4v4 in the field. my team once again in the middle by the sat com. we divided into a 2 man squad to try to attack the other teams. one team wanted to go stealthy, me and someone else just wanted to charge someone. so we charged the older guys while the other 2 searched around looking for 21 black. we ended up taking out the older guys, turning the game into an 8v4. then we searched and found the other guys, eventually they moved into the tree line. we took 3 of them, making it a 11v1. so we are thinking the game is done. but Jake from 21 black was the team medic, he starts taking guys out from the team of 11, and completely changes the game around. everyone went from one team to the other in a chaotic battle in the thick brush of the dangerous treeline area. it was crazy but epic.
we ended the day with a variation of pistol tag just to goof around. it was fun, just trying to take a few guys out with our sidearms because none of use get enough opportunities to use them.
