today was one of my favorite games hands down. over 30 players showed up. many RIT guys, and repeat players, along with some new guys.

we started out with a 12v12 deathmatch at the creek (before some players arrived). we did not use the air horn like we usually do, instead we used walkys to start the game. this failed because one team did not get the message and started much later. putting them far back early on. my team advanced very quickly, took many forward positions, and racked up the kills. we had them down to just 4 players, and most if not all of my team was in. they were nearly pushed out of their own spawn when from the rear the game over call was sounded. confusion broke out, no one knew why it was called. it was then reviled that Eric and managed to sneak past our team due to a laps in our tactical watch of our left flank. he got to the spawn of our team, thus ending the round. pretty epic for him, and most of us had a good time either way.

next we moved on to a standard attack defend with a new twist. defenders were the most skilled players, facing far superior numbers but of less trained guys. they had to hold the satcom, the house, then they concrete bunker we finally got done. the defense of the satcom went very well, we held off the attackers for a long time, but eventually we were overrun. props to Dan and Mike for holding out so long. eventually mike was last at satcom, and a sad case of friendly fire got him out and to the house. at the house we began to get picked off very quickly. but we did hold the cement bunker for a long time. again Mike was left to hold the bunker, and was killed by a safety kill. one of our longest, and perhaps the best attack defend game we have had at the FOB.

then we worked on the field and got a lot of good bunkers set up.

finally we did a hostage match. the highly skilled guys had to try to rescue a hostage held by a large but inexperienced force. the defenders held the hostage for a long time, and at one point they seemed to stall the attackers. but eventually a flank fell and then another, and so on. it gave the hostage time to run after many of the defenders were killed. it was a long and very exciting battle.

great game, i feel sorry for anyone who missed this one. be sure to comment and add our highlights to this game!
