i was hoping by now that i would have better news, but unfortunately Shadow Strike Airsoft will not be opening this spring. we have not found a new location at this time. until a new field is found i will be happy to relay any local game invites via this site. just send me a message here with any details. please note that any games i promote here are not SSA sanctioned and anyone who chooses to attend them does so at their own risk. i will continue to look for new locations and would appreciate any leads. thank you all for your continued support.

we are closing down for the season. we are working on a new location at the moment, and will hopefully be open again in the spring.

we will no longer have games every sunday after September 1st. we hope to still have a few games after that date, but they will not be set days. we will announce each game on the facebook page about a week before the game if there will be one.

we have started our 2013 season a little differently. we will be hosting open games every sunday rather than every saturday this year. still starting at 10am
there is no posted end times, generally its around 4pm but we will continue to play so long as we have enough players staying (generally)

games are still rain or shine, 10$ for the day. free games for veterans or anyone who contributes to the field in some other way.

our age limit will remain at 14 years old. you must have a waiver signed by your parents if you are under 18 years old

NEW PLAYERS MUST BE AT THE FIELD BY 10AM FOR A SAFETY BRIEFING.
this is not optional, you must go through the safety and rule briefing in order to play at this field. it does not matter if you have played at other fields or you are an experienced players. this is MANDATORY.

due to bad weather Operation White Knight 3 will be postponed until march 2nd. sorry for the bad news guys, no one is more upset about this than me. i put a lot of work into this OP, and it will happen. but making this game run smoothly and safely is just too difficult with the weather so bad. i know many of you are disappointed, to make up for the let down we will make our first game of the 2013 regular season free as well.

Operation White Knight 3 will take place February 9th. the game starts at 9am. all players MUST be there by 9am. the reason for the early time is simply shorter days.
the game is free.

there are a few things that have to take place for the game to go on. if any of these 3 are not met, the game is canceled.
1. weather can not be rain, or excessive snow. light snow or clear skies is ok, but rain or heavy snow will shut us down.
2. temp. must be over 25 degrees. anything below that causes too many problems and heath risks.
3. wind can not be over 20mph. high wind will make this game too difficult to work.

all players must have a few things with them to participate in this game.
1. hand warmers for batteries
2. proper winter gear. if you come unprepared for the weather i may not let you play for safety reasons.

the Shemagh rule that requires all players have a tan and green shemagh is temporarily suspend. it was a little premature to set this rule because we have not built the urban area up to the point where this rule is necessary. we are very close to this goal so the rule will come back. but for now we will not require them. tho we do strongly recommend you have them for games because they are very helpful. we will be selling the remaining shemaghs still, so you can still pick up whatever is left of our inventory.

this means that the fee for games is mandatory for everyone. no more free games for buying shemaghs. that will come back once the rule is reinstated. the good news is college students get 1/2 off entrance fee.

please remember that the "first games free" rule ended last year. sorry but we no longer do that.

we are starting our season very early this year because the weather has been so good. here is a look at our basic rules and our game schedule. if your new read it over.

-all new players must be at the field by 10am their first time. this is for our safety briefing. if you are late you will not be allowed to play.
-our age limit is still 14 years old.

this year we will be doing things a little differently to make games work better and make the field better. all these rules will be in effect when we being regular games in the spring. please take a minute to read through this information. thanks

1.) we will now charge 10$ per person. we do offer discounts to guys who help build, bring stuff for the field, or guys who help SSA in other ways.
College students-5$ off with college ID. (only during regular school year, once summer starts this deal ends)

2.) Kill rags will be required for all players. we will sell rags on the field for 50 cents.

3.) the big change will be with team setup. we will now require all players to bring a Tan and a Green shemagh to every game. we will be selling both colors at the field for 6$ each. you must bring both color shemaghs to each game as teams will change up like we normally play, the only difference is this will reduce team confusion.

this is everything you need to know for tomorrows op.

the game starts at 1030. DO NOT BE LATE OR YOU WILL NOT PLAY! NO EXCUSES
game ends when all objectives are completed, or sundown is close. no set time

ALL AEGS WILL NEED HAND WARMERS FOR YOUR BATTERIES! your gun will die fast in the cold, without a hand warmer on your battery it will die! we have had games where guys think this is exaggerated. then when their battery dies in the first hour they SHUT THE HELL UP. bring them, you will need it.

we will leave the cars and walk into the field. WE WILL NOT RETURN TILL THE OP IS OVER.
this means you will need to bring what ever you need to function throughout the op. food, water, spare gear, whatever.

we will have short breaks in between objectives. enough time to hydrate, and eat something quickly, reload and prep for the next objective.
there will be no time to cook, or prep any elaborate food. power-bars are recommended.
